Ingredients:
- 1-3 grams of finely ground herb (the higher quality, the better)
- 1 teabag of your choice*
- Hot chocolate mix (Nestle works well, but any brand will do)
- Approximately 1 cup of milk per teabag used
- Marshmallows
- Tape, staple, or glue (for sealing the teabag)
- Makes one serving.
Directions:
1. Choosing Your Herb:
The key to a fantastic Pot-Chocolate is high-quality herb. Select the finest you can find, as you’ll only need a few grams per teabag. The better the herb, the richer the flavor and experience.
2. Preparing the Teabag:
Carefully snip off the top corner of the teabag and empty its contents into a bowl. If you’d like, you can leave a pinch of the tea in the bag for added flavor.
This is where things get a bit tricky. You need to get your finely ground herb into that small teabag. The easiest way is to create a small funnel out of paper and pour the ground herb into the teabag through it.
Once you’ve filled the teabag, seal it shut with tape, a staple, or some glue. Make sure it’s well-sealed to prevent any herb from escaping during the steeping process.
3. Preparing Your Pot-Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe container, mix your milk with the hot chocolate mix. Microwave it until the mixture is hot, stirring occasionally.
After heating, place your herbal teabag into the milk and hot chocolate mixture.
Allow the teabag to steep for at least 10 minutes. Keep in mind, there’s no strict time limit here; the longer it steeps, the more potent the infusion will be. Feel free to experiment and discover your preferred steeping time.
4. Serve and Enjoy:
Once you’re satisfied with the steeping time, remove the teabag from your Pot-Chocolate.
Pour your infused hot chocolate into a cozy mug.
Top it off with marshmallows for an extra touch of sweetness and creaminess.
Notes:
Flavored Teabags: For a unique twist, you can use flavored teabags. Try a raspberry tea for a delightful chocolate-raspberry fusion. You can even leave a pinch of tea in the bag for added flavor complexity. Feel free to get creative and experiment with different tea flavors.
Important: NEVER use water for this recipe. THC is fat-soluble, not water-soluble, meaning it dissolves much better in milk than in water.
Now that you have your steaming cup of Pot-Chocolate, find a cozy spot by a warm fire, and let the comforting flavors and soothing effects take you on a delightful journey. This recipe is all about relaxation, enjoyment, and embracing the cozy moments in life.
